About The Launch: COCONUTS

COCONUTS is the latest and most sustainable swimwear designed and recently launched by Pink House Mustique. The newest range of adults and children's swim shorts is made with oceanic plastic waste treated at high standards. Plastic bottles and recycled polyester are the base of the new REPREVE^® fibre. The COCONUTS swim shorts are made from the highest quality, soft, super-fast drying fabric comprising 53% Repreve^® and soft lining made from 100% recycled polyester mesh. The fabric has been beautified with OEKO-TEX-certified dyes that are proven to be free from harmful pigments and inks.

Pink House Mustique has also updated its sustainable packaging materials, now all made from recycled materials that are all recyclable and made in the UK.

About REPREVE^® Recycled Fibres

The REPREVE^® fibres are produced from plastic bottles mainly saved from the ocean water. These rescued bottles follow a long process to become fibres and then fabric: chopped up, washed thoroughly and then melted before being turned firstly into flakes and then into chips before being heated, extruded and spun into fibre. Around 31,265,063,000 bottles have been recycled in this way since the development of REPREVE^® in 2007.
