TCA Men’s Couture Launch

Friday, 23 December 2011 Fashions Finest Loves
The event took place in London's premier Gay Venue, the Shadow Lounge on Wednesday 21st December and showcased TCA's Men's Couture Militopia collection and signature pieces from their 1st collection Point 5.

Militopia is inspired by the uniforms worn by the Hungarian army during the Second World War due to the high level of detail of this uniform, but careful attention has been paid to the cut, bringing a fresh feel to tailoring.

Teresa Cruz Almeida says "I'm so happy with the success of this event, I've always known that there is a market for my style and tonight's comments and feedback after the show really proves this. I love to experiment, and have taken all I have learnt at Antonio de Arroio about men's design and the male body, material structure at t university Politecnico de Setubal socialising on the drag scene in Lisbon to create a collection that blurs lines between masculinity and femininity, and adds another dimension to men's fashion. I draw on a wide range of stimuli to design and this means I am always pushing boundaries."
