Make sure you are fully prepared for the wet weather so you can enjoy the event to the max – wellies will be a must have for all festival goers. For those willing to splurge a little, opt for Hunter Wellingtons – a well known, chic brand often seen sported at festivals by the likes of Kate Moss, Pixie Lott and Rachel Bilson. These wellies are known for their classic look – choose from bright colours such as pinks, greens and vivid reds or keep it minimal with shades of silver, navy and forest green. Ranging from £65-£95, Hunter wellingtons are more of an investment – however with their simple styles they are timeless and will last you a festival or two!

For a glam twist, take a peek at the Jimmy Choo wellingtons with their crocodile print and gold buckle. These wellies give a high fashion look and can be teamed with pretty summer dresses for girly chic or teamed with cut off Levi shorts and band tees for a casual, cool style. Available on Net-A-Porter for £127.50 (half their original price!) they definitely aren't a bargain – but hey, if you have the money why not splash out (no rain pun intended there, honest) for something a little different and a little glam.

In need of something less costly but still as good quality? Topshop have quite an extensive range with varying colours and prices to suit all tastes. The DAZZLE Glow In The Dark Wellies (£26) are a fun alternative, available in shades of orange and blue and giving a playful vibe with the glow in the dark feature. Let's face it, glow in the dark stuff and light up shoes never did go out of fashion from when we were kids! The JOULES Spot Wellys are another great pick at £38, giving a girly, feminine look which paired with a tea dress and some red lippy would give a great vintage style. Finally, New Look is one of the best places to look if you're on a strict budget. With a variety of prints and colourful designs at around £19.99, or £23.99 like these JuJu Cow Print Wellies in a bold, bright pink, these are perfect for festival fun. Team with cut off shorts, dresses or dipped hem skirts to mix and match this seasons trends, and to create a summer vibe that's waterproof ready!
